Splaj – Syrian Platform for Law and Justice is a Syrian-led, non-governmental organization committed to documenting human rights violations, supporting victims, and advancing legal accountability for crimes committed in Syria. Through meticulous investigation, legal case-building, and advocacy, we strive to end impunity and contribute to a democratic, just, and peaceful Syria.

    Who We Are

    Splaj (Syrian Platform for Law and Justice) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Germany, dedicated to promoting accountability, transitional justice, and human rights in Syria. Born out of the urgent need to support survivors of atrocities and contribute to legal and societal reconstruction, Splaj stands as a bridge between Syrian civil society and international mechanisms of justice.

    Founded by a collective of Syrian legal experts, human rights defenders, journalists, and academics, Splaj is committed to building a future where justice is not only an abstract principle, but a lived reality for all Syrians. Our work is grounded in rigorous documentation, legal research, victim-centered advocacy, and collaborative engagement with international institutions.
